AdFeedEngine launches significant new revenue opportunity for Searchworld

Ansearch Limited (ASX: ANH) today announced that the launch of its new proprietary search advertising system, the AdFeedEngine, which is demonstrating a significantly new and ongoing revenue opportunity for its Searchworld division. Trials of the new system, which measures and controls the volume, quality and source of incoming traffic received by advertising distribution partners, have generated increasing and record traffic quality scores resulting in higher than expected revenue being generated from search traffic.

Half Yearly Report and Accounts

The 31 December 2008 half-year has seen a sizeable reduction in losses on the previous corresponding period despite a reduction in revenue. Net earnings after tax increased 26% through increased revenue margins and a range of cost cutting programs that had been previously announced.

The revenue variance is the consequence of a large but unsustainable spike in revenue that occurred in the first quarter of the previous corresponding period, generated by customers whose activities were putting at risk the Company's supply agreements with Google and Yahoo. The Company took a decision to terminate these customer contracts in order to preserve the integrity of the underlying operations.

There customers have now been replaced and after a slow first quarter, revenues have recovered in the second quarter of 2009.

Ansearch Q2 Revenue Soars, Company Returns To Profitability

Ansearch Limited (ASX: ANH) today reported outstanding second quarter revenue growth, the Company's return to profitability and positive outlook.

  1. Q2 revenue up 30 per cent on prior corresponding period; up 68 per cent on Q1.

  3. Group reaches profitability; is cash flow positive in December 2008.
  4. Cash position improves over September quarter; directors reaffirm positive outlook.
