Webfirm - Finalist in the 2009 Australian Web Awards

OCT 22, 2009

For the 2nd year in a row Webfirm has made it to the finals of the 2009 Australian Web Awards.

With a judging panel consisting of 13 experts in their respective fields and an extensive list of entry and judging criteria, this year was sure to be a challenge to all who entered. Everything from code validation, accessibility, through to content was reviewed but nevertheless the team at Webfirm were confident.

In addition, the 2009 Australian Web Awards was judged as one national awards contest for the first time, so the finalists have been chosen from all states. This represents an even greater achievement by Webfirm to have been selected.

Our sites that have made it to the finals are as follows:

  1. Virtual Category – For small and micro businesses without a “real” shopfront
    1. Busybee Toy Trust
  2. Sell to People Category – For services not for commercial use
    1. Causeway Yamaha Motocycles

We would like to thank all of our clients for their continued support that enables us to keep growing and developing better online business solutions.

The winners will be announced at the Awards Dinner on November 6th, 2009. The awards are conducted by the Australian Web Industry Association, a non-profit association representing and supporting businesses, individuals and students involved in the web industry.

Webfirm is a proud sponsor of the AWIA, Edge of the Web and the Web Awards.
