Online ad spend set to surpass TV

In Australia, more businesses are investing in online advertising every year, and it is finally about surpass TV Advertising spend in the next 12 months.

PwC compiled the figures for the latest IAB (Interactive Advertising Bureau) report released yesterday. It shows online advertising expenditure in Australia for the last financial year increased by an astounding 21%.

Online advertising spend has reached $3.14 billion, up from $449 million the previous year.

As businesses seek potential customers through marketing efforts, this data should underpin the budgetary decisions to grow their online investments.
