Setting up iPhone / iPad email

This tutorial shows you how to setup iPhone or iPad to check your Email. You can setup iPhone or iPad to check your Email by doing the following:

Start a Conversation

Step 01. Open Settings

Step 02. Open Mail, Contacts, Calenders

Step 3. Select Add Account

Step 4. Select Other

Step 5. Select Add Mail Account

Step 6. Select IMAP if you wish to use multiple email clients (such as Outlook on your Computer)

Step 7. Fill out the select fields, with your details.

Step 8. Fill out your “Incoming Mail Server” with the settings we have provided to you

eg:
Hostname: imap.yourdomain.com
UserName: bob@yourdomain.com
Password: ******

Step 9. Fill out your “Outgoing Mail Server” with the settings we have provided to you.

eg:
Hostname: smtp.yourdomain.com
UserName: bob@yourdomain.com
Password: ******

Step 10. Select Save in the top-right corner

Step 11. By Default iPhones will try to create the mail account with SSL. If there is an error your iPhone will ask you to try without SSL.

Click Yes

Wait again for it to complete setup.
