Webfirm Facebook- Nearly 600 fans strong

It’s been 6 months since Webfirm officially launched it’s Facebook Page. In that time we’ve been busy engaging our target audience with useful, relevant content from both our own staff members and our favourite sites on the web. One thing I’d like to share looking back is that it’s been fun! We have a staff member who manages our Facebook Page who does a great job getting input from the rest of the team. It doesn’t take an enormous time commitment to begin engaging others. As it turns out, if approached intelligently, people out there are interested in what we have to say.

On the brink of 600 Facebook Page fans at the time of writing, all of whom who have been driven to the page through our engagement strategies, it presents a terrific case study for what is possible (600 people would fill 2 large cinemas). Creating a community of like minded web users from nothing is not only incredibly rewarding, but also brings with it the benefits of increased engagement with our clients and those interested in web marketing.

If you’re thinking this sounds cool and have been meaning to get around to it, don’t procrastinate. As they say, “the secret to getting ahead is getting started”.
