Tip number 1. The first and most obvious tip is to check your Google Analytics to see how many people are visiting your site via a mobile phone. If it is more than 1 in 6 then continue to through the next 2 steps.
Tip number 2. Work out how engaged your mobile visitors are. Look at the bounce rate. Bounce rate is the number of people who leave you site without clicking through to any other pages. If your bounce rate is high then they might not be engaged with your site and quickly leaving.
Tip number 3. Compare the average amount of time visitors spend on your site when using a desktop, to the average amount of time mobile visitors spend on your site. If people are spending less time on your site whilst on a mobile then you may need to address the situation.
Lastly, do you visit websites on your mobile phone? Australia has one of the highest Smartphone adoption rates in the world. so if you’re visiting websites via your mobile then it is most likely your customers are doing the same.
