Meet Krystle, Webfirm’s Web Designer. Passionate about all things music, design and steak-related, read here to find out a little more about what makes her tick….
Hi Krystle! What do you do at Webfirm?
I am the Web Designer here at Webfirm. I’m passionate about creating a strong digital story for our client’s brand that is both user friendly and cutting edge in design.
What do you normally get up to on the weekend?
I’m very creative, musical and spontaneous… So if I’m not engaging in a musical activity such as recording, performing, writing or watching a live band, then I’m usually outdoors with friends having a good adventure! One of my most recent adventures was climbing through suspended courses and highropes at the “Treetop Adventure Park” in the Dandenongs – now that was fun!
Who is your favourite band or singer?
Oooo… this is a hard one for me to answer – I’m very eclectic in my music styles and love many different artists for different reasons, so currently I’d have to say: Steffany Gretzinger, Lael, Koryn Hawthorne and Tye Tribbett.
(Just to list a few… I have too many… haha)
How did you get into website design?
I ended up in web design by accident funnily enough… I initially had no desire for the web area and studied design with the anticipation of pursuing the Print/ Graphic design field. But during my design course, I did some work experience in my friend’s web design business and ended up falling in love with web design. That work experience turned into my first digital agency job and now the rest is history!
You step outside the office onto Collins St after a day at Webfirm and find a lottery ticket that ends up winning $10 million. What would you do?
I would quit my job to pursue my music dreams full time! I’d record my first full album and go travel the world, engage in some missions trips to some third world countries and see where all that journey would take me!
What’s your best holiday story?
When I was in Santa Barbara for an artist bootcamp, I got to adventure into a prestigious recording studio on the outskirts of LA where many famous bands recorded… that was special.
If you could eat only 3 foods for the rest of your life, what would they be?
Steak, chocolate and coffee (I know that’s a beverage but it is as important as food to me… haha)!
What accomplishment are you most proud of?
I would have to say that my best accomplishment so far, would be my single “All or Nothing” that I released in December 2017! It’s a song that is close to my heart and was a great project to work on with my producer. So feel free to go check out my song on Spotify (or any streaming platform): “All or Nothing” (Krystle Svetlana).
